Vivekananda Park
Vivekananda Park
A park has been set up on the ground adjacent to Vivekananda house containing outdoor exhibits embodying Vivekananda’s messages. These exhibits explain the teachings of Vivekananda on national integration, the harmony of various religions and Indian culture. The park, sponsored by CPL, was inaugurated by His Excellency Governor of Tamil Nadu Banwarilal Purohit on Feb 8th 2018. Some of the messages depicted in the exhibits are:
- O Men, you are Lions, Shake off your weakness
- Arise, awake, and stop not till the goal is reached
- You are the maker of your own destiny
- God is infinite, do not limit him
